| Got this from a third party so I'm not sure how accurate it is. A softball friend of mine his son's friend went out fishing by Mustang Island State Park. They used Croaker and came back with 10 trout all over 20 in. As I said I don't have a first-hand report so I don't know about the accuracy |

| Fished north fish pass jetties with soft plastics, gulp, and spoons on incoming high tide. No action after an hour. Guys at the end of the jetty were using cut mullet and catching gafftop. Water was not quite chocolate milk but pretty brown. At least it was a pretty sunset! |

Still pretty off-color, but not as cold.
Some impressive gafftops have been making it ashore lately.
At least it ain't hardheads, right? What's the old saying, "When Life gives you lemons, be thankful is wasn't Syphilis"??? |

| Took a cruise sbh this morning and water was fairly clear but cold. Stopped and talked to a group of fishermen and had eight poles out and they had one hard head and one Whiting. Stood and observed the water looking for bait. I saw a couple large mullet jump but no finger mullet in the water. |

Wonder what it is like further south? 20MM on? Anyone know?
Planning on coming down Thursday after noon and leaving Friday. Want to hit PINS with the kids and try to get them on something. _________________ Shane |

| Went with in sight of the Mansfield this past Saturday and fished quite a few blocked guts wade guts and breaks in bars water was still a little chilly. The ladyfish where in full force caught at least a hundred between my group. We did manage 1 limit of trout between 4 of us and 2 red fish on a mixture of plastics. It does look like the water is starting to warm up I hit a couple guts that were quite warmer than others. |
