Thank you for your help have a great day |

| I would follow the ditch south then venture out from there. I would not run that boat to the east of it for long distances you will likely get too shallow for your set up. west not as bad but beware rocks in badlands and south edge baffin. good luck |

Yeah in that boat I would run that one more mile south then hang a left toward the meadows and run100 yards off the grass edge all the way around to Yarb. From there either take the cut that is in the top of Yarb or keep going south to the south side...
does the banshee have a tunnel or do you have a little JP on it or anything? |

Haven't been down there in a coon's age myself but as I remember just as you are getting to Baffin area you see some scattered spoils and the twin palms islands on right side of ICW, on the left there was a channel cutting left with some floaters and a natural gut with some pvc markers angling off to the area east of the island on the west side of the meadows. There are rocks towards that island past this gut and off the ICW south there. Sooo.. be careful going in that way. Also used to go past that island a bit and hang a left as I think was suggested above. Be good to get someone to show you around a bit if you can. There are guides who will do this. Probably be well worth it if you're wanting to fish areas down there a lot. Also watch where other boats are going. Here's a link to satellite images of local areas. Good Luck.

What I would recommend is getting someone that is "very" familiar withe area to go with you in your boat and save some "Tracks"
Get very familiar with the functions and use of whatever brand GPS you have.
Be careful and have fun!! |
