So I saw we had a super moon but what caused the extreme low in the land cut this week? Water was straight ripping out of the hole. There was 100 yards of exposed bank in places I

I've been there during a new moon period when the tide was running out pretty fast. It's interesting to me in the case of a strong tide movement there the tide runs north and south depending on where you are in the cut. BTW, I've also been told by many there is no tide at the land cut. All you have to do is pay attention to the flow indicated beside a channel marker if you don't believer there is a tide change at the land cut!

This is at the mansfield channel yesterday, Jan 6, saturday.

Not sure what is normal here, this is right about low tide - low tide was around 1030 - this is around 1100.

Fishing wise, I caught 4 huge ... magnificent ... nasty hard heads out of the mansfield channel. I'm still the king.
