I'm new to the forum and live in east Texas and haven't been able to get any info. on the condition of our cabin. It is the yellow cabin on stilts South of Bird Island off the King Ranch Shoreline. I am coming down next weekend but would love to have a heads up on what to expect before I arrive. Thanks and If anyone in the area needs supplies please let me know.......

A friend stopped by our cabin yesterday across from the Badlands at Baffin. No cabin damage or pier damage. We did have a tree down in the yard. I think you should be fine....

Thanks so much for the replies... I feel a little selfish for worrying about our cabin when so many have lost everything!

our cabin across from Bird Island sustained very minimal damage. Couple of sheets of tin over the screened porch were loose on one end and the rolled roofing on the generator shed had rolled back some. cabin partner and his wife checked it last week and made the minor repairs. I know your cabin and i suspect you'll be ok. Good luck!
