Haven't posted In a while, so I figured why not. I fished the surf from about 9:00-1:30. Whiting were plentiful in the second gut and kept me busy all morning with fishbites on light tackle. Had a surf rod out with live shrimp and managed 1 large Skip Jack, he swallowed the hook so decided to use for cut bait. Soaked the skip jack and managed two large whiting heads. I guess I left them on there too long and they became shark bait. Water was clear, plenty of bait in the wade gut. There was minimum weed and minimum current, was able to keep my line out with no issues.

LOL! Large whiting heads. Becky and I used that method to catch pup sharks for tagging one day.
