This is the most intimidating aspect of kayaking offshore for most people. There are enough videos out there of hot-dogging and folks showing their skills, but I wanted to make a video that demonstrates a few things you can do that will just help you get in and out of the surf zone with the kayak right side up. After all, most of us only approach the surf because we have to get through it to reach the fish.

Nice work Salty. You're dead on. That's where all the beach front sales happen .. errr I mean yard sales. Some of my best buddies have lost $$$$ of gear trying to get out or back in. Good stuff.

You remember that kingfish tourney a few years back where everybody was a turtle! There was stuff everywhere!!! Good times Laughing

LOL, tournaments have a way of bringing in the worst weather! When there's a little money and pride on the line, many of us can get sucked into conditions in which we should really not be playing. Very Happy
