Redfish have been good on the flats in mud bottom areas of grass and mud. I found most of my fish in about 50 yard sq areas where wind driven current dumps off the flats. Fish were also predominantly in the edge of off color water just slightly higher (shallower) than the trout.. but not much. There are miles and miles of flats that are empty, but you can find where the fish are if you know the knowledge. Caught plenty of trout as well, most were 15-17 with an occasional low 20" fish. It was far from epic but each day I've been averaging 6 reds and about 7-8 trout.

Trout have come on one knockers in Oakie Shad, Mirrolure Paul Brown FatBoys (Floater) in Tx Chicken, Little Johns in Golden Bream and better trout have some on the Fat Boy and a lure I've been prototyping for floating grass conditions. Reds have all come on the prototype.

I'll try to get some pics up soon of the fish. They are on my phone... will post soon.

Alright T, good show, guess you're up the coast? Have been a couple times in past couple weeks, and of course on the windiest days. Have managed to box some trout, finding cleaner water seemed to be the ticket. Lot of the trout bites still seem to be the cold water light tick type. But the perch are already plentiful too. D
