| I have a good friend (we were rookie firefighters together back in 86) coming down to fish week after next. He is relatively new to SW fishing but has fished his whole life. He is bringing his Dad from Minnesota and wants to put him on some fish, they will be fishing out of my buddy's boat. I've not fished much this time of year and was wondering if someone could give some advice as to a pattern to fish this time of year, not honeyholes just patterns. I know sheepies are thick (as are snowbirds), but he wants to put his Dad on some trout and reds. They caught some small trout and sheepies at SPI week before last, but he wants his Dad to rassle a redfish. I know how much this means to him because I just went bass fishing with my Dad Thurs and he put on a clinic on how to catch numbers, but I showed him how to catch big bass of the day, we're still razzing each other. Thanks in advance. |

| He's from Mini Soda, but he's lived here in Kerrville since the early 80's, his dad still lives up in the deep freeze and comes down this time of year. |
