As I was shopping for fishbites today I found that HEB and Wallymart keep them under lock and key now. So I had to ask why and the answer was that they are a highly stolen item. I was like really? The Girl also said that they needed to be paid for right there at the sport counter. So I guess it's that way everywhere now. Who would have thought? I would have thought that Gulps would have been the item to steal but I guess there is to much work associated with using them. Just saying. IMS _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED.

Get 'em at the Bait Bucket. The price is comparable to any place in town. |

| They also work under a popping cork for reds, trout and drum. A strip on a small croaker hook is all you need...... |

I think the package is slim and conducive to being slid under clothing and not noticed. I'm working on a new product for the upper coast and most of the dealers want to hang the item without the 'sd card' in it.. keep the SD card behind the counter and make the customer ask for it. theft is bad out there, even for retailers at all levels.
Back to fishbites, I've cut thin strips of the stuff and used it as spoon trailers. It adds a good bit of action. |

I agree, there is a noticeable difference sometimes when I don't have a fishbite on the spoon. |

Since I don't live in the coastal area and it's usually a couple of months between trips my fish bites would go bad, so I tried freezing them and it makes a huge difference as to how long they last. They will last even longer if you vacuum seal them first then freeze.
Just I thought I would pass the info on to others that don't live real close. _________________ Salad, Salad, everywhere and not a bite to eat. |
