Fishing was tough my guess would be the semi slack tide, kinda cool water, and full moon. Long Casted beach only with one decent Blue to show. Which was my fist one. Short rod fish just whiting, 1- 18" trout and, what I think might have been a blow/dog fish. Throwd the entire box at them. Could not get the same thing to bite twice.

Long line dead bait were Mullet every way, pin perch, and a whiting.

Fished the Inlet cut and surf with weighted submersible green LED. No dice.

Had a fine time with friends. Temps were frightful between 12 and 6ish but other than this were really bearable.

Saw a lot of row out baits but did not see anybody fighting. Did see a stack of birds working around the mid 30's Saturday late morning. It was on a bar island out behind the first bar.

It was a trip anyway that needed to happen for all of our sanity. Good luck and tightlines!!

The beach was clear and i was catching Jacks back in April!!!

Didn't catch much, but did get to fish with an old friend that I haven't fished with in about 20 yrs. So I guess I did catch a lot, caught up on old times, 3 old retired firefighters sharing stories of fishing trips past and laughing at some of the hard times we had and how we endured. 2 trolling motor anchors broke this trip but with some redneck ingenuity and 2 ratchet straps we were able to continue fishing. Great times with old friends.
