I don't post very often, but had a great snapper trip Saturday and it kind of got my juices going. No boat, so I'm planning on hitting as many walk-in spots/banks/piers as I can this week before I go back to work Monday. Some of them probably at night. I'll try and report them all. I figure posting this declaration will keep me from being lazy and motivate me to go even when Netflix is feeling like a good option.

Right now my wish list includes: north jetty, surf(if it cleans up), Oso pier and my normal spot(wading Indian point). Any other suggestions about spots this time of year?

Thanks in advance-[/img]

First trip this morning. Hit the surf at Packery at daylight with plastics and silver spoons with a buddy. A little over 2 hours totaled 6 undersized trout. Had to get back to house for plumber. From distance, it looked like a couple of guys caught keepers on the rocks.

Waded about 3 hours between Indian point pier and the highway. Skipjack would not leave me alone. Caught at least 10 on gulps before I switched to unscented plastics. Caught 2 undersized trout before calling it a morning. Water was pretty and jellyfish were mostly cleared out.

I did keep 2 small skipjack to cut for some redfish bait(maybe this afternoon after a nap).
