First I am new to the forum and very happy to be joining such a great group of fisherman. Secondly I am headed down to Corpus on June 13 and I will be fishing the surf. Could I get reports on what is biting in the surf. Thanks

It all depends on the weather and it is too early to say on that. Always have a plan B in case the surf is blown out. We would fish the bays maybe Mustang Island area etc if water was brown.

If the water is green and moderate should be plenty in play, Whiting, trout, reds, skipjacks, black drum, hard heads, pompano, Jack crevalle, bluefish.

Why not? Pomps are caught year round from our beaches. Anytime conditions are right there's a good chance of catching them.

Surf trout were thick Sunday, slow Monday and nothing on Tuesday. If anyone has them figured out, let me know. Very Happy

It's an inside joke with Tyler. He owes me a Pompano fishing trip.

Got ya. Well good luck with that. He'd have to go fishing for that to happen.
