I read the answer about drones being illegal on the National Seashore, but is there anything preventing this on the rest of our beaches and waterways? Other than water you can't see below the surface in, of course.......and not having a big enough spool to reach our tuna 20 miles offshore:)

| You will have to be more precise in asking your questions to get a straight answer here. Closest to shore I have ever caught tuna off the Texas coast is 30 miles. As far as, inshore waters, its not illegal because there is no rule for it yet. If it isn't in the book, it's not illegal, according to TPWD. Unless the feds have a rule already, I would assume its the same answer. |
