I have a 2012 Merc 25 that runs great as long as you keep in primed by pumping the bulb. All of the connections seem to be tight and I can't see any fuel leaking any where. Stop pumping it burns the fuel in the bowl and dies out.

Any ideas?

Sounds like the fuel pump is not working.

That's exactly what happened when my fuel pump went out, bad news not a cheap repair. I did replace the fuel lines and primer bulb, hoping that it was sucking air, but no such luck for me, hopefully you'll have better luck.

Probably just the lift pump diaphragm. You can get it fairly cheap. A little bit of a pain to install, though.

Fuel pump. You can get rebuild kits off of Amazon.

Could be as simple as the o'ring on a fuel connection. From my past experiences that would be the first thing that I would change! Just syaing, experience..............cC
