I'm confused here...

some game wardens will get upset with you, because the rules state that you're not supposed to hunt FROM A VEHICLE....sitting on the tailgate is hunting FROM a vehicle...

standing next to it, leaning your gun against the tailgate is ok...

Oh and stringer, those where measured and released for kayak wars points. Most of those trout where back to back. Had to be sorted through and measured for kayak wars points. All but 5 safely released, hence the picture at the beginning of the episode.

From TPWD:

"Fish caught and immediately released are not considered to be in your possession. Any fish not immediately released that are retained by using any type of holding device such as stringer, cooler, livewell, or bucket are considered in your possession and must adhere to established protected length and bag limits.

While fishing, it is illegal to be in possession of more fish than the daily bag limit or fish that are within a protected length limit."

Lol I wasn't sitting on a tailgate. Those are camera boom sticks from railblaza. The tailgate in located 5 feet in front of the camera shot.

Was also wondering about the power lines. Haven't ever seen power lines in Baffin, but I've only fished there a few times so maybe they're in an area I'm not familiar with.

Can be hard to find - they move.

I have not looked at the board since last summer. This thread reminded me of the old days of General Hospital, One Life to Live, etc. you could miss them for a year, turn on the tv and it was like you were never gone. I'm gonna watch that Red Sniper video now, cause I'm fixin to get my summer game on!
Never regret watching a Red Sniper production, or the commentary that follows. Love it!

There is a difference between roasting and pointing out the obvious mishandling of fish. I guess I should've specified but I was simply trying to highlight the fact that I do not believe that dragging around trout from a kayak on a stringer that you don't even plan on keeping is a good fishing practice, considering the fact that speckled trout aren't exactly the most hardy species.

But I guess it's just fishing entertainment at its finest Wink

I said Reuben was out recording for a future episode. Obviously a different location. Who doesn't know the power lines Wink

As for the gator, still in edit mode.

I don't think a game warden understands the concept of being in possession but only for purposes of kayak war points.

Surely the wardens have updated their procedures to check for kayak wars participation before writing citations.

I had to go back and watch it again.

My favorite ..."the tug is your drug." You got that one right. I also like the dramatic music; seriously, it's well timed with the footage and builds up the scene. The prior comments speak for themselves, but I think your videos are coming along. Thanks for putting it out there.

I bought a Gopro and need to put something together myself. Then set the oven at 350 and wait for the comments. Laughing
