Did I miss the gator trout? I saw a redfish, but no big trout? The video is well made as usual. The only thing missing are the fish. _________________ "Ya'll must eat a lot of fish" |

Also, the rocks in Baffin don't actually move. It's something folks say when they've been running the bay for years and finally hit something on a track they've taken many times before without incident. Just in case you didn't know. _________________ "Ya'll must eat a lot of fish" |

Was also wondering about the power lines. Haven't ever seen power lines in Baffin, but I've only fished there a few times so maybe they're in an area I'm not familiar with. _________________ "Ya'll must eat a lot of fish" |

Just one more thing......the limit has been five trout for some time now and that stringer shot has at least 7. So this is 1) old footage from before the law changed 2) illegal or 3) multiple anglers sharing one stringer.
I doubt it's number 2 because most folks are smart enough not to share their illegal activities on the interweb.
The third option is more likely, but just FYI.......if a game warden stops you, everything on YOUR stringer will be considered in YOUR possession therefore putting you over the limit. I know folks who share stringers, but to me it's not worth trying to explain to the Game Warden why I have more than my limit in my possession. _________________ "Ya'll must eat a lot of fish" |

this is exactly correct, and we might have done it "back in the day" before we knew better, but we ALL know better now, RIGHT?!
and something else our group learned this past season from a nice game warden, is that dove are the exact same way....if you pick up a bird for someone else and put it in your bag to return later, that bird is YOURS and counts against YOUR bag limit...if you have more than your limit, even though 3 are "ricky-bobby's" hunting right next to you, and even if he's three short, they're in YOUR bag, so YOU are over....
careful out there folks!

LOL, come on you think I would lie to you! I know you know your waters and land markers :p
I said Reuben was out recording for a future episode. Obviously a different location. Who doesn't know the power lines
As for the gator, still in edit mode.
Oh and stringer, those where measured and released for kayak wars points. Most of those trout where back to back. Had to be sorted through and measured for kayak wars points. All but 5 safely released, hence the picture at the beginning of the episode. _________________ http://www.youtube.com/NextLevelFishingTV
