After spending the last week in Colorado it's really good to be back home . My step son Vic and his wife Jess just had a healthy baby boy Maverick at 9 pounds + and 20 and 1/2 " long he made the slot. Today Dmchan and i went looking for any thing that was hungry, we fished the back yard and found plenty of specs in the 17 to 18 inch range along with lots of dinks dmchan also found this nice 27 1/2 " red all fish were caught on soft plastics and released yellow was the hot color although we did catch fish on almost every color we used. Dmchan is really getting in to fooling these fish, i don't see alot of live bait in his future.
