Fresh out of the mold from the land of Majek.

21FT RFL, It will soon be rigged out and be ready for some fun. Thanks Bruce Laser at Ronnie's/ Premier Yamaha in Aransas pass. This is my 2nd rig and Bruce goes far and beyond the call of duty to make sure you are a happy camper. He knows boats, he knows the bays, he knows fishing, not your average sales person. Just a suggestion from me here. If you are thinking of buying a new Majek or any boat they sell go see Bruce in Aransas pass...it will be worth your time. As for the new girl she will be plain and simple because fancy don't catch fish but it does look good at the dock. I just need a key and a motor. Very Happy Finished pics coming soon.

Know better than to ask a guy how much it cost. Quality does not come cheap. That being said ask all the questions you need before you buy. If you're happy with the deal you got you don't want to know how much somebody else paid because at some point you'll find someone who got a better deal then you. Now you were once happy and you've gotten pissed off because someone else got a better deal. "Don't Worry - Be Happy"

And Stan, you're right, haven't found fish that really care what you're fishing out of or what you're fishing with. Be in the right place, and the right time, and finally it's all about presentation.

No disrespect, but I don't think it's wrong to inquire on the price of a beautiful boat. I'm not as familiar with boat prices, but as young man I love dreaming of what the Lord will bless me with later in life. All I know is that I can't wait to have one of my own.

My old 21RFL will turn 20 next year. Bought her used in 2002. Great boat and hull design. You are going to like that extra 3 feet on the new one. Gets up shallower and rides smoother than the 18.

Congratulations on your new rig! I love simple, and utilitarian! I hope you get a water pressure gauge for this one. BTW, what engine are you going with Stan?

I've always had a pressure gauge I just had tp replace the one in the other boat. As far as the pusher it's a 150 vmax 2 stroke. I have always been a 2 stroke person even with motorcycles back in the day. Less moving parts and lots of torque . 4 strokes are nice , quiet, and get better fuel mileage and cost twice as much.

Planning to order a TRP lower unit for it? Makes the shallow water get ups so much nicer than a standard lower unit.

Stan, treat the first fish you catch out of her like a new business does their first dollar bill. But do it the IMS way - don't frame it, fry it!
