Arrived on Friday night hit the beach to check on the red tide, luckly no signs.
Bull reds haven't received the memo to run. Only cayght a couple bulls is more like a trout run. My buddy found a spot that produced every day we went over. Was able to do a state water trip in the boat, a lot of traveling
but managed almost a four man limit. Scott and I caught trout on plastic and the ladies free line shrimp. Not our best but not to bad of a trip. Heading back next month hopeing the bulls will be running. Tight lines[/img]

Having problem loading picture's I'll try later

Lets see if this works;

Great pictures and trip! I hope to hit those rocks a time or two soon! Few more days of work and I'm off for two weeks!

Hopefully the fishing is this hot at the end of the month! I'm headed down for the duck opener but will fish when the ducks aren't flying! Awesome report

Interesting to see the number of candy snapper (a.k.a. Lane snapper) of size, coming off the jetties. That's pretty cool. Glad you had a successful trip. Plus, who else would post a pic of a blenny, a ladyfish (I presume - the one head-on?), and a collection of the highly endangered THE red snapper!!!! Razz Razz

Dale Nelson says El Nino has us 6 weeks behind on the weather maybe there is some truth to that statement. I mean we have normally had some sort of cool front by now and there is nothing on the map. That would put nature behind also. I only had 1 burst of hummimgbirds so far. Still looking for another push.
