I went by BHP late yesterday and I thought it looked pretty good. The water was almost in the parking lot though so I imagine driving the beach is almost impossible at points. I could not smell anything except normal beach.

PINS is still covered, but BHP and points North it's clear, and a friend even caught kings, smacks and pomps at the rigs Saturday.

According to their latest reports, the water is still testing well over the lethal limit for fish from the pavement all the way down past the jetties.

I am hoping for the best but red tide has a way of reappearing in a crazy short period of time.

That high water may have pushed most of those dead fish and hardhead spines close to the dunes. THAT would be a blessing!

I've been seeing that as well. The water at Cole Park is maroon color. I went down this morning and detected no aerosol and no dead fish. There is a bit of froth growing right now against the sea wall, though. There were trout this morning, caught 7 on top waters off the short pier.
