|

Hi All,
I have been planning to visit Corpus for quite some time now and red tide has just messed all that up. I've been lurking the forums for quite some time now trying to get updated and what not, and most of my questions have been answered... but I'm not looking to cancel my yearly trip down to Packery/Bob Hall/Port A any time soon.
My primary destination is Packery jetties/bob hall and I know from my readings here (thanks for the updates guys) that those areas were greatly affected, but my question is... Is there any hope things or fishing will improve by Friday/Saturday? Those are the days I plan to head down there. I've never experienced red tide and by the looks of it, it's nothing I want to experience. Just like most of you here I just want to get some fishing done and catch some fish.
Has anyone tried fishing Packery/bob hall lately? Should I just head towards Port A jetties? Are there any fishable places at this time? I just fish off the sides so no wading/kayaking to be done. Been looking forward to this trip since I left the jetties in March and this situation just stinks. Any updates/info is greatly appreciated!
Thanks! |

They reported Whiting and Pompano at Bob Hall today and up north Mustang near Port Aransas had some spanish mackerel and no aerosols in the air. _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |

Some of my friends fished the North Jetty in Port A last Monday. Early morning trout bite and 2pm Red and Blue fish bite.
No Red Tide.
