Anyone stumbled onto them this year? Haven't seen very many popping up on FB or in reports. Would love to try to target them, figured CC bay would be promising to try. Thought about fishing some of the deep humps, and the rigs but that is all a by chance catch as yall know.

They are in the same places they usually are this time of year; rocks, bulkheads, general structure. The key is using small live baits and appropriate sized tackle I.e 15-25lb flouro (no swivel!!) 1/0-2/0 light wire circle hooks and the smallest egg weight you can "fish" your bait in the given current. Make sure your drag is tight but not locked down. Hope that helps buddy.

http://www.corpusfishing.com/cosway.htm

What I like about Cosways you can buy live shrimp buy the count...
Works out good to just buy a dozen or two, if you just want to "scout" a specific area for an hour or two...
Also, there's no guarantee just depends on how busy they are...
But I've ask them if they can pick out the smaller live shrimp for me, and they said no problem...

Not familiar with CC bay personally...But if have boat or Kayak I've
heard this area can be good sometimes for maggies...
If you switch the view at this area on google (earth), it will show some rock jetties that protects the 3 T-heads and marina...
That's where Maggies like to hang out...
L-Head Seafood & Bait House is located there and may be able to get recent reports or more info from them...
My best luck for Maggies (without boat) have been NPJ channel side or S Port A Jetties channel side....both about 1/2 to 3/4 ways out to end Cool
