Wind 6-7 mph in my yard with a barometer of 29.92 and the humidity is 94% . Skies are clear and it's going to be hot be sure to hydrate with water guys save the cool ones for later. The current wind speed is 15mph at Bob hall and the water temp is 83. Going out to have some fun this morning in the low tides to see if we can find a school of pinkos. Maybe a couple of trout for color. Have a great day hope they want lures today...... mainly the wife wants me out of the house so she can get something done. Very Happy

Good luck, Stan. Hope you get into them. I'm planning on hitting the water tomorrow. I have to referee volleyball this morning.

Lots of oversize red today managed 3 keepers I'll post a report later. I'm tired. Just tacking this on. We were in by 10:30 it got hot fast out there yesterday. Redfish are scattered and in smaller schools here and there yesterday in the Backyard. We caught em on plastics but the gulps were catching too if you like skipjacks I stayed with the Norton bull minnow, I also caught more fish. We got on one flat and on one side of the flat the reds were oversize couldn't catch a keeper. In the middle they were all 19 inches. On the other side they were in the 22-24 inch range ....weird. We could of stayed and drug out 3 limits easy but it so dern hot everyone was ready to get back to some a/c and I was glad that I only had 3 reds and 1 skinny trout to clean. It's just going to keep getting better and better. I need togo to Wally-mart and exchange my tag I would have used it on one of the oversize. Today the law says it's family time and some fried fish is on the schedule. While waiting for Zias report.

Dave with a catch and release oversize

Sorry Stan no report. Decided to sleep in, read the paper, do the crosswords. By that time it was 10am and just too hot to hit the water. Guess I'll finish my painting in the a/c. Plus I bought a bushel of roasted hatch green chiles from HEB that I need to vacuum seal.
