Headed out Thursday morning early out of Bird Island with Skipper and his cousin Zach in his Majek Extreme We fished the Land Cut first and managed to each scratch out a limit of flounder. We then tried for a Star redfish in the Meadows. The water was out a bit there and the dead floating grass made it nearly impossible to fish. The water was nice and green until the mouth of Baffin where it was a bit dirty due to the high wind the day before.

Nice mess of fish! We launched out of Bird Island yesterday morning as well but did not have nearly as much fun as you guys. We replaced the roof on the cabin. What started out as a nice calm boat ride from Bird Island Basin turned into a howler later in the day. The wind actually felt pretty good in the heat of the day. Congrats on the good eats |

Yes, zoom split tails, glow and chartreuse shad paddle tails, and gulp in new penny and pumpkin seed chartreuse. I got 4.5 lbs of fillets out of mine and mine were on the smaller range. _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |
