I think my favorite is the "shawk" @ 4:04.
But how cool was the fishing bird directly after? _________________ "Money will buy you a fine dog, but only love can make him wag his tail." - Kinky Friedman

That was one smart Green Heron!
The guy in the back of the canoe was definitely a "girlymon"..... _________________ Dave

SB at his finest, I might add! He might need to revisit Newtin's Laws of Motion....... _________________ Dave

That green heron was amazing. It makes you wonder if they really do possess enough intelligence to put at least some thoughts together instead of just acting on instinct alone. Otherwise, how could a bird learn how to play a trick on that perch like that using a improvised lure? |

Birds came from dinosaurs, and the current thinking is that many of those predatory species were pack hunters, and that takes at least some reasoning power and the ability to learn. Most seed eating songbirds aren't brainiacs, but the more predatory species have something going on behind their eyes! _________________ Dave

| That dude tried to get me kicked off a local fishing site in Austin because I told him he needed to get a job. He tells the moderators that I was threatening his family and I am a threat. Couldn't believe it. |
