| Got to my spot at the beach about 8;30. surf was high and winds were rough. Sat for 20 minutes deciding whether I wanted to put up with those conditions or not. Finally cast out one rod with shrimp and fish bites and the bite was on. However it was nothing but hard heads. About 10 o'clock the whiting started biting but my truck, which was parked at the vegetation line, started getting splashed with high tides coming in. So I packed up and headed home before having to drive through the water on the way back. |
