storm hit my house and dropped two and a half inches of rain in about 30 minutes. Also pea size hail bombarded Mary and I sitting on the back south facing porch. A fishing buddy of mine said he had 4 inches out in Annaville. Reports?

I'm not too far from you, and it was a frog floater for sure.....ran home to shut some windows before it came down (thankfully just made it)....lightning struck the neighbors old radio tower behind the house, I nearly peed myself...

haven't seen my yard flood like that, maybe ever....

Not a scientific rain gauge, but I just emptied a little over 4 inches out of a container on my deck here on the Island. There was also small hail for a short while.

Just left the island, and got back to central Texas where we had 2 inches in one hour as fast as I have ever seen. More standing water on Padre Island that I have ever seen. I am sure others have seen more but I was impressed. There's a good mosquito hatch coming for you guys I'm sure. Hopeful there will also be a good hatch of shrimp, crabs, and trout in the Laguna.

I'm done with it.... flooding all over the bluff. I've been running a pump for a week trying to get all the water out of my yard (and neighbors yard).

good thing we're still in stage 2 water rationing since they apparently hate seeing the lake get anywhere near to 50% full.

friggen idiots.

3.5 inches over here on Cimarron and Yorktown with marble sized hail. The weird part of it all is the hummingbirds showed up right after the storm.

I have 2 rain gauges and I got 1.67 inches of rain they are usually within 1 or 2 100ths of each other. That was a pretty good rain maker yesterday.
Yes the hummingbirds did show up in droves I had to put up and extra feeder so they could keep up. Strange huh?

We rode it out in the boat on the Nueces River. Got a little hairy but everything worked out alright.
My yard a lake, and thanks to the city's awesome drainage system, I don't think it will be going anywhere for a while.

Y'all can blame this one on me. I was in the Bluff all day yesterday and must have brought it with me. I experienced it all; thunder, rain, flooding, hail, tornado warning, and power outage. Good news was I got some much needed work done on boat and trailer. Ended up pulling boat back to the barn thru water that came up to the rockers on the 4Runner and darn near floated the boat!

Last Saturday I had a two foot deep drift of pea size hail on the side of my driveway.
