This past weekend I got my truck stuck and it was sitting in the sand and mud for quite some time. Thankfully thanks to the help of 2 nice gentleman they were able to get me out. I have washed my truck 5 times in the past two days to get as much salt and sand off as possibly. I am wondering if there is anything I can do to protect the truck from rusting. Its a 2014 and is showing a few spots here and there and I'd like to prevent any further rusting.

I was looking into doing the Zeibart undercoating but have read mixed reviews. Any recommendations?

Thank you

Run a garden sprinkler under it.a few more times. I used boiled linseed oil on the parts underneath that don't get hot.

Undercoating should be done before any rust is evident. If you cover the rust with undercoat it will still rust out. You just won't be able to see it.

I use CorrosionX on my galvanized boat trailer, and was able to find a gallon at about $52.00, including shipping.

I've sold Chassis Saver for years and if it were mine I wouldn't use anything else.
Keep in mind that Chassis Saver actually needs a little rust for it to stick to, once applied it cuts off the oxygen and moisture rust needs.

Por15 requires to many steps to achieve the same effect.

Oh, I almost forgot. Wear gloves and cover everything you don't want it to stick to, if you let it dry on your skin you will have to wear it off and that takes about two weeks.

You can never stop it once it starts you can only slow it down.

I've been pondering the same thing recently. My beach truck arrived in corpus with no rust and after 3 or 4 years its making me cringe everytime I get underneath it despite being diligent to keep it out of salt water and rinsing it down after every trip.
Eastwood sells some interesting products I'm thinking about trying once I get it running again. Anyone had any experience with their rust treatment/ prevention products?
