| Is it best to buy a cheap pair of waders that you have to replace every year or is there a better solution of paying more for some that will last longer. Is it worth the difference. |

Going on three years on my current pair of Simms waders. The only leak so far was the one I put it in it when I accidently jammed the spike of my stringer through them, the hole was easily patched with the provided repair kit.
And I wade 5-6 days a week on average. I just hose them down, fan dry them and no problems after three years of heavy use. |

Will they still make custom fit waders? I'm 6'5", but only a 31" inseam, height is all in the torso. Means all my waders have put the knee pads at my boots, and the chest only coming up just above the waist. Still works, but a real pain to walk a good distance, or climb in/out of the boat. _________________ Carpe Diem: Sieze the Carp |

| Simms, is tough to beat. Check out Roys. I got mine three years ago when they had some discontinued models at a very good discount. Neoprene is nice when things are real cold but breathable is my go to best at all temps. |

Custom fit seems nice. Or you can check these out. I just replaced my old waders with these and so far I love them. They have reinforced butt and knee guards. Fairly light and come up a little higher than normal waders. It also has to Velcro belts at the hip so you can tighten it. And not too bad of a price either

Don't know if they will make custom fit, but here is link to their size charts.
They have lots of options.

That is some torso! I wear 34 or 36 inseam and I am only a little over 6'3 _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |
