Did a lot of work around the house today getting ready for Christmas guests. About 3 pm ththe winds died down somewhat so I hit the water for some R&R. Wasn't going to keep anything,was just playing around to see where the fish might be and what they were hungry for. First stop 2 minute HH. A few fish there. Got 2 keeper trout on tequila. Left there and tried 3 minute spot. 1 more keeper and a couple of Dink's. Trolled the channel and nothing.
Next worked the deep waters by Pita, Nada. Switched to red/white eel and bite was hot. First drift 5 keepers. Next drift another 4. After a dozen fish I was home by 4:15 to continue working on a planter I am building to put on my front porch for growing herbs.

Way to tear em up Zia !!! I need to start fishin the Laguna more offer. I haven't fished it in a while !!! Been too busy chasing flounder around. It might be time to dust off the ole Curado and do a lil rod & reel fishin.
