After the rains of yesterday morning, I made my way down the beach from Bob Hall to the north sticks. Beach driving was an 11 on the 10-Scale!! 
The length of the beach, saw more pelicans either in the wade gut or perched on the waters edge (plus more terns than even Capt. Sandifer could count!).
The water was nice, with surf running 2 rows at 2 feet. Clear, and very little fresh sargassum. Plenty of small mullet and bait running the wade gut, with a few blow-ups (probably jacks) in the near surf.
Passed one group that landed a nice 5+ foot bull shark. Not many people out fishing, but the conditions were prime. |

| Thanks for the beach report. Sounds like some place I would rather be than work. Thinking of going fishing in the surf this weekend. Nice picture. |

I heard stories of black clouds of dusky anchovies, stories of spanish mackerel and the hard heads so thick in the anchovies people were stepping on them. Ouch!
