Took a good friend and his little son out fishing this morning. Fished Backyard early and picked up 10 trout on a slow but steady bite. Fish in 2-4 ft of water, both hard bottom and soft mud/grass. Next we hit the ICW and picked up 6 more on a fast and furious bite. The bite died between 12 and 1, so we called it a day. Fishing seems to be gradually picking up as summer goes along!

Good luck, and be safe out there guys!!

Earthworms free-lined on fluorocarbon leaders. 4/0 hooks. Probably could have limited out if we hadn't had guests to entertain Laughing Laughing

TeamRipLip, its just the broad, general area of the northern end of the upper laguna madre. I think of it was the water from the JFK Causeway south to....well...my southern limit is basically anywhere I can paddle my kayak to from Flour Bluff, so that doesn't help. What would you locals say - about the point of Bird Island? Pita? Maybe better stated as the water that IMS can see when having his morning coffee.
