So I bought the 50w and in searching for a blank I think I have decided on either a 9-10' jawbone or the 10' 80 to 130# gator. I am specifically asking if anyone has tried both with a similar sized reel and what their thoughts were on how they compare against each other. What the action is like etc. Thanks in advance for any input! _________________ Great captains, the stuff of legend, are made not by what they have caught, but by what they have given back. |

Jawbone seems to be the general consensus! Do you like a 1053 or 1054 better for a 50w? _________________ Great captains, the stuff of legend, are made not by what they have caught, but by what they have given back. |

| I have had a jawbone hammer on my 50 for a few years and like the action. I really never thought it had that much play in it until I hooked into some good sharks. Then that sucker will double over. I didn't know they made a 1054. Good to know. |
