Was fun getting to see what I consider a very good fisherman catch his personal best. 28" 7.2 lbs. Not many fish but has 28" 26" two 23" we're the best.
I was on a roll catching a stingray, trout, flounder, red, hardheaded, and gaff top

And yes this is the two months I use live bait with no shame. Funny how the guides we have encountered in East bay want to express there disapproval of croaker. I fish legal and I fish how I want to fish and I'm there to enjoy time on the water and try catching fish while at it.

Nice catch.
A salesman once told me (whispered it like we were in a speak easy or something) about the luck he'd been having drifting minnows on a split shot on a lake I fished regularly but was having some trouble producing fish. Thought what the heck, so I gave it a try. Man he was right. The bass hammered the minnows, and it was fun catching them. Told my neighbor (an arti only guy)about it, and he looked at me funny and asked, "Is that legal?"
Well it was legal, and I added it to my arsenal as a different and fun way to put meat in the freezer.
