Was a Deer Hunters Association sponsored tourney. Any bait was okay from what I gathered being that one boat that fished all the way over in Arkansas Pass used croaker as well as lures.

TDA (Texas Deer Association) put tourney on. Benefited Combat Marine Outdoors. Corn was only bait permitted. Very Happy

This is a great tournament for a great cause. I really don't think using bait in a tournament makes these guys lesser people. I've taken these Great Americans Veterans fishing in this tournament we used bait and the guys really enjoyed the day.

The land owners also take the Veterans hunting during season. There is a lot of people trying to say "Thanks" and help these guys return to the
community.

yeah combat marine outdoors, great group of people. I have guided a few of them on hunts, and know a couple of the guys that run the organization. if you're looking for a PRO hunting and PRO fishing and PRO gun organization to give to for wounded warriors, this is your group!

Thank you for the info, I had never heard of these folks, a little research and wow they have a new supporter! ST, you are 100% right! they are doing a great job, hat tip to the TDA for supporting and actively working to help the injured Marines.

You will probably here more from me on this group, what most impressed me from their website was the fact it is not about them, but about helping those who need it.
