So i know ive had great success on this forum with people having things that they want to get rid of but cant seem to just throw away. So im looking for a go pro hero (1 or 2) or couple of them that are either dead or just arnt being used. i really only need just the camera itself. Let me know what you have and how much you want.

On the front end I can't help you. And I honestly do not care why, beyond curiosity, do you want dead go pros?

i have a couple of ideas on the optics that i would like to try. basically tearing them apart and replacing the lens. problem is i hate go pro for the "fish eye" effect they give. so im having to go off measurements to find a lens not made for go pro but will work. the go pro has a 170 degree field of view, giving it the bubble effect, and im looking at going with something in the 100-80 degree field of view. it would be nice to put 1-2 next to each other for testing purposes. from what i have found once you get a scratch on a go pro lens its pretty much done as no one will replace the lens. while on my search for suitable lens' i found a couple night vision lens' that would work as well. i know its a long shot finding 1 but you never know.

I've got one that fits your description. I believe it's an original Go Pro that has a small scratch on the lens. When I get home tonight I can give you the model number. I am in Houston fyi.
