Its a little late for the posting but hopefully some regulars can help me out. My wife and our new addition to the family are staying on the island at the island hotel(across from sharkys). If I'm not able to fish the surf id like to go do some wade fishing but I'm not very familiar with the area and dont want to go far being they will be at the room. Also, are there any piers good for night fishing? Once i put the woman and child to bed id like to go looking for dinner. Literally. Laughing

The wife and I just got back from the South Jetty. The beach was clean and couldn't see any weed in surf. It was dark had the KC's on. Good sign though. Very Happy

You should be able to fish the south jetty with little to no problem.

Got here this evening and fished for about 20 minutes. Absolutely no weed. I caught 3 hardheads and 5 whiting. Fed the hardheads to the crane that wouldn't leave my side and kept the whiting for either bait tomorrow or lunch Smile.
