How's everyone doing? I haven't been on in quite awhile, I went to VA July 2, 2013 & was told to lose weight. I weighed 311.1 Shocked

Well I am Proud to say I now weigh 232.0 & it is all due to diet as I'm a Disabled Vet Very Happy

I was wondering if anyone has any info about when & where in Louisiana is the best time of year to eat large quanities of Shrimp, Oyster's or Crawfish.

Kind of a Celebration & wanting to take my youngest son to Louisiana Very Happy
I still plan on losing more weight, with a goal of 175 or my Basic Training weight Very Happy

Any help is greatly appreciate, hope everyone's doing well

There is a place in Lafayette called "Prejeans" that was good. I will call a friend of mine in Lafayette, a registered Cajun who can let me know the good spots around there

Prejean's is good and so is the Blue Dog Cafe and Fezzo's in Crowley and in Scott. If you want to get off the beaten path go to Cajun Claws in abbeville (SW of Lafayette ) biggest and best crawfish i have had. They have a bottle of Cajun Garlic on the table and will send out a small thing of mayo with the crawfish. Add a bunch of the CG to the mayo. Sounds weird but makes one hell of a dip for the bugs.
