| I fished fish pass jetty all day yesterday and got one whiting.... about 4pm went to indian point pier and it was non stop action with the whiting.. 6 hours on the jetties with nothing and 1 1/2 hours on the pier i landed prolly 30 whiting. took 10 really nice sized ones home and made dinner! |

Fished ALL day Sunday solo and managed 8 keeper trout to 21", a few good reds to 28" and 22" black drum.
I found a good bite mid morning only to have a mako skiff drift right in behind me and set up shop on the productive spot, nice tactics.
It was a pretty tough bite this weekend, varying the retrieve made all the difference for me. I caught most of my fish in 4ft+ water with mainly soft plastics but a few fish on soft dine and corky. |
