First trip to pins of 2014 turned out to be pretty nice. We went just a little ways past the 10mm and started setting up. Fished with white crab flavored fishbites, 20 seconds after the first rod was deployed it was picked up by a solid whiting. The pattern would continue for the next hour and a half when everyone decided it was time to go. In total we caught 8 big whitings all released to fight another day.

Also, water seemed to get a little bit greener further south and there was a fair amount of weed out there.
