I have seen many people launch small, light boats from the north side from the little peninsula that is exposed during low tides. I have never driven out there myself to see how soft the ground is. May be too muddy for me to attempt.

I think there is a boat ramp facing CC bay by the university? Also looks like they are widening that peninsula? Saw a bobcat and dump truck out there today.

That ramp is very shallow and if the wind is blowing at all it's very hard to get the boat off the trailer.

Local fiberglass man had a scooter in his shop that had a metal stake pierce through the bottom of hull and came through the top. Ripped all the way back to back of boat. He litterally dumped his pants when it happened. Be careful

That ramp by the university is nothing but loose sand and shell. I've had to use 4 wheel drive a couple of times when pulling the boat out.
