Started around 5pm fishing from cos-way pier with a live mud minnow hooked through the lips with a 1/16 flounder jig head. Dragging across the bottom right on the edge of the drop off produced two keeper flounder in about 20 minutes. After going home to enjoy them for dinner me and fishing partner decided to go through artificials in a channel very close to the causeway. Started at 8pm and fished to 11:30pm between the two of us we caught 48 trout and 4 reds.
The largest of the trout was a fat 25" and the smallest around 13" with the same being true for the redfish. All fish were caught on a norton sand eel jr in glow and chartreuse, on a 1/16 ounce norton shad head. Fish were in the deeper water and would hit semi aggressive on the fall. All fish were caught and released for another day!
There still out there go and get some!!!! _________________ Bad fisherman blame their bait, or the lack there of. |
