The tides are the highest I've seen in a long time in our canals, everywhere for that matter. What's causing them to be so high? _________________ HighTide

It was surging within 10 feet of the dunes yesterday afternoon on the beach btwn BHP and Mustang Island State Park. The water is also right up to the road on sections of Laguna Shores. _________________ "Ya'll must eat a lot of fish" |

Razorback, I'm referring to the rise in level that we've experienced in the last 2 weeks. _________________ HighTide

I'm here in Port Isabel and wanted to go to fish the surf, but the beach was closed!!! The water is too high here too. Nowhere to drive or park on the beach. UGH! _________________ FishLady

Don't know whats with the tides lately but, they should get blown out with the coming cold front and make fishing quite a bit more interesting hope this front knocks em down enough for at least a preview of corky time _________________ EAT,SLEEP,BREATHE,FISHING |

| ENE winds and none of the fronts have had an significant west/nw wind to blow out the water. Tides have been above normal all along the texas coast for several months. |
