Im new to the forum! Hi Everyone!!
Anyways my names Stas and i have been actively fishing (3-4+ week) now for about 5 months now. Before that I hadn't touched a pole in 5 years (its amazing how it all comes back so fast).
I've fished PINS maybe 5-6 times and well didn't catch much, but we also had the wrong bait Wink
I mainly pier fish since I do have a 3 year old, so kid safe piers for me only since the little guy refuses a life jacket Sad
We fish over at Marker 37 generally at the very end of the pier (we have the huge monster yellow pier cart) or Mustang Island Barrier. The coolest thing I've caught out surf fishing was a spanish mackerel.
I have how ever landed a 31in Bull Red in the channel at 37, and my fiance landed a 37in Bull Red. So we do know some kinda big fish Smile
I have also recently been doing alot of research and really would LOVE getting into shark fishing and hopefully compete in next years Sharkathon!

He also pulls in some decent sized skip jack now and again for a friend for surf fishing Smile

hes generally happy but he is 3 and big yellow turns into his bed when he gets grouchy!
