My wife is always asking why I have such good friends, and I tell her it's because they're fisherman! I was down to C.C. this past week for a few days and had planned to fish with IMS, Bamared, and maybe a friend I have in Portland. Sometimes the best laid plans................................. Anyway, I had also made plans to meet Shorty and get a few spoon blanks from him so I could modify them to fit my purpose and make a few for presents. I gave him a call, with the short notice I had, met him and he delivered the spoons to me. Funny thing was, he wouldn't take a dime from me for the spoons!!! This was definitely the highlight of my trip!!! I came down for a few family obligations and a little fishing and wound out with 4 full days of family obligations and NO fishing. Sometimes, it's just that way. Unless there's an emergency, I'll see you guys in the March-April time frame. Other than that, I'll be watching here daily for my latest fishing conditions and my daily chuckle!!!!!!!!!!!!
