Wow Shocked Someone sure wasn't paying any attention to the coastal flood warnings. Bet there will soon be a 4X4 truck for sale for cheap.

That guy in the truck is a total idiot. If he was mudding I hope the truck is totalled. Sorry for feeling that way but those are the people who get acccess blocked off for the rest of us.

If you are one of those people who go mudding or drive through wet marsh areas to get to a fishing spot then stop!!!!! Only go in at dry times on established roads. Just because you think you are in an area where no one cares or no one will see all the ruts you are leaving through the marsh does not mean it is true. You are being watched and reported. Once the problem gets bad enough the entire area will be blocked to all vehicular traffic. Areas that already have projects in the works to block them off include: the entire bay side of Mustang Island State Park (approximately 3 miles of shoreline), Mollie Beattie Habitat Site, The Village area by Snoopy's and Marker 37, and there will be more. The Mud Bridge (Oso Bay at Yorktown) is also on the radar.

Stay out of the marshes when it is muddy. Either find somewhere else to fish or park on dry ground and walk in. Before long all of our access will be blocked off if this crap keeps going on.

If you are a mudder and reading this...I hope your truck rusts out fast or you end up like the guy in the pic!!!

before anyone gets twisted off, KingKilla knows what he's talking about, and is 100% correct....

its a dang shame too, to be losing access to these areas listed because people can't stop doing doughnuts in the marsh and get stuck and destroy these properties....

Is it possible that there is a valid explanation of that Ford truck picture that doesn't include the driver being a total idiot?

If someone has a heart attack while driving and runs off the normal driveway and is forced to leave their truck in a bad spot before a higher than normal tide comes and floods it, is he still a total idiot?

Would a website called nooneevergetsthebenifitofthedoubteverfishing.com be popular?

Obviously.

Probably is, but it has about as much chance of being true as your insurance costs under Obozocare have of going down.

I did too and I don't think I'm your buddy. Well mine is more like 25 and 3/8. I thought I had a big red on. Until I saw it jump. Good catch though.
