Me and some friends and family went down to just past the 20 Friday evening,
water was clear all the way down. I only seen some birds working at around the 17mm but some one was fishing pretty close to them but not on them. Finally started to set camp up around 6:30 and fished a little friday night, but not much action. couple of good hits but nothing landed. Saturday caught some whiting, a few pomps and a bluefish, no mullet in the surf so went to yarbough pass and caught about 30 finger mullet in the cast net, and those still didn't work. But i had fun the weather nice except for one storm saturday morning. |

Sorry to hear that you didn't have much action. Went myself on Friday evening, 7-9 PM, and caught whiting and one red. Fished Sunday and had non-stop action for three hours. Fished SBH, and stopped when bait was in the water.
Hope you have better luck next time. |
