because I have a Mercury, I use Quicksilver Performance DFI. But it definitely depends on your outboard, consult a manual or do an online search. _________________ JJ |

You will be surprized at how many oils are made by the same company and just have a different lable on them like batteries. I use Penzoil plus XLF. The main rule, when you start with an oil stay with that oil on the engine don't go swapping around unless it's an emergency.

I use Penszoil premium plus. It is pretty much the same thing as the xlf . The premium is a synthetic blend. I ran it in my Tohatsu for 13 years never a problem. Now i'm running it in my Yamaha. The Yamalube and the Penszoil are made by the same manufacturer. They are the same color. A premium oil is a premium oil. 13 bucks a gallon at Sam's club. And it won't void your warranty. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED.

| I use Walmart quicksilver premium. Just in case I forget to check my oil tank and find out I need oil at 5a.m. Walmart is always open. |

| Citgo from Academy. It's exactly the same stuff we buy in 55 gallon drums at work. |
