We all know how hard it is to compete with the "Lower Coast" in any division in the STAR, but the flounder category is hands down TOUGH !!!!
I caught this fat flattie on rod & reel @ my HH. Fished for bout 5mins @ my 1st location & on the 4th cast I hooked up. The flounder ripped drag fast off my Curado and never did the notorious "thump" like they usually do, so I thought I had a big trout on for a minute until she did a complete BACKFLIP about 10 feet from my boat, it was AWESOME !!! Gna be hard to get a 6.13 to get on the STAR BOARD. I weighed the flounder in this mornin @ Roy's, she went 3.7lbs !!! Maybe one day I'll get lucky and when one of the categories. But its sure gna make a great meal broiled in my oven.

Thanx Tex, ya I've been catching a lot of em lately... They are starting to move in. The flounder run is right around the corner too. I am gettin my 6-pack license soon and I will be a USCG approved & TPW approved guide. I will be doing guided floundering trips as soon as I get that license in my hand !!!

Bring those 4-wheelers by today and let's go off-roadin'. We need to drink some ice cold beers and go fishin too. My days off this week are Friday - Sunday and I plan on doin alot of fishin... Hit me up neighbor, and let's plan a trip.
