Had a customer catch a 7.5 lb Tripletail Saturday off a well out in Corpus Christi bay. Will post picture soon.

Nice!!!! They show up occasionally, usually following a bunch of weed through the pass.

We found one in the land cut a few weeks ago along with a cooler full of 12-18 inch jacks

If you can find a string of crab pots near the I.C.W near the lighthouse in Port A you will find some large tripletails. Also get ready to sight cast some jacks.
Best to set up a drift and be real quit when you approach these crabpots, They are easy to see as you get close.
